My name is Breanna Demont, and I’m a photography industry veteran of over 15 years.
Based in the Twin Cities and available across the globe, my passion lies in creating authentic, storytelling visuals for my couples, focusing on artistic and poetically nostalgic heirloom imagery that can be passed on through generations.
Through a relaxed, natural approach, I capture genuine moments and emotive portraits that stand the test of time, making sure my clients are their most comfortable in front of the lens, and gently guiding them every step of the way. A letter to every soon-to-be-newlywed:
It’s the day after your engagement. Or maybe even an hour after they (or you) popped the question. You’re so excited and overwhelmed by the entire journey of planning your wedding, that you don’t even know where to start. You do, however, know a few things for certain that are the most important to figure out: the date, the venue, and the artist that is going to document the entire day.
So you scurry on over to your laptop, researching the best wedding photographers in your area. Perhaps you’ve even made a vision board before this step that shows exactly the type of style you are looking for from your photographer. One thing’s for certain: everyone has their own idea of what their budget will be, and their goal, of course, is to stick to it. With that said, I can tell you for a fact that hiring the right photographer will be the most important decision you make for your wedding, aside from finding your dream venue, and they will be worth every penny and then some.
You don’t just want someone to capture the events as they come, you want them to be totally prepared to document the real, the raw, and the sweet love in every single moment. You want them to capture the laughter, the tears, and everything in between with unique images that will WOW your friends and family for years to come.
So choose wisely, my dear. Choose someone you feel a genuine connection with during the initial consultation, whether it be over-the-phone or in person. Choose someone who you can tell really cares to get to know you, your story, and your dream day, and will put their 110% effort into said day, knowing that every single minute counts. Choose someone that calms your nerves, makes you laugh and reminds you that this sacred day, no matter how far into the future it may be, is going to be absolutely perfect.
And that’s where I come in. Like a fairy god-mother, my job is to spin my magic wand and tell you that everything is going to be A-OK, because it will be (even if there are some speed bumps along the road)! I will be there for you through every step of the creative process, reassuring you that you will be documented in the most flattering light possible and have the time of your life in the process, even if you’ve never been professionally photographed before and quite possibly have no idea what to do (which, by the way, is completely normal). I will make it easy. I will make it effortless. And above all else, I will melt the stress away and make it FUN!
This day is all about you and your soon-to-be-spouse, and nothing brings me more joy than to see you both happier than you’ve ever been, on one of the best days, if not the best, of your entire life. I can assure you that if you hire me, I will give you the best of me. I will give you my all.
